- Because you are precious in my sight,
and honored, and I love you,
I give people in return for you,
nations in exchange for your life. - I love you, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer,
my God, my rock in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
- And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- I reprove and discipline those whom I love. Be earnest, therefore, and repent.
- But I say to you that listen, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.
- For the whole law is summed up in a single commandment, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
- Those who say, “I love God,” and hate their brothers or sisters, are liars; for those who do not love a brother or sister whom they have seen, cannot love God whom they have not seen.
- I love the Lord, because he has heard
my voice and my supplications.
Because he inclined his ear to me,
therefore I will call on him as long as I live. - You shall not murder; You shall not commit adultery; You shall not steal; You shall not bear false witness; Honor your father and mother; also, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
- The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery; You shall not murder; You shall not steal; You shall not covet”; and any other commandment, are summed up in this word, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
- You shall not hate in your heart anyone of your kin; you shall reprove your neighbor, or you will incur guilt yourself. You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against any of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
- I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.
- If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
- Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.
- If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
- This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
- Let all that you do be done in love.
- Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law.
- Do not love the world or the things in the world. The love of the Father is not in those who love the world.
- So we have known and believe the love that God has for us.
God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. - We love because he first loved us.
- Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
- May mercy, peace, and love be yours in abundance.
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love. Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from one person's envy of another. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful.Next verse! With image
