- There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.
- Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God.
Do not forget the helpless. - Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God. - “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
- God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble. - Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.”
- Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
- Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
- Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame.
- May God bless us still,
so that all the ends of the earth will fear him. - As the deer pants for streams of water,
so my soul pants for you, my God. - When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.

- Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.
- You, Lord, keep my lamp burning;
my God turns my darkness into light. - Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.
- Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you and praise your name,
for in perfect faithfulness
you have done wonderful things,
things planned long ago. - Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
- Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me. - Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests. - For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.
- Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
- Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.
If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him. My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.Next verse!With image
