Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'I'
- When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
- I will sing to the Lord all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. - Even to your old age and gray hairs
I am he, I am he who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and I will rescue you. - I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
- Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” - But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
- I will walk about in freedom,
for I have sought out your precepts. - I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits,
and in his word I put my hope. - I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.
- I will strengthen Judah
and save the tribes of Joseph.
I will restore them
because I have compassion on them.
They will be as though
I had not rejected them,
for I am the Lord their God
and I will answer them. - So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. - I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me;
I was found by those who did not seek me.
To a nation that did not call on my name,
I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’ - He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.” - In God, whose word I praise—
in God I trust and am not afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you. - I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
I have set my heart on your laws. - But I, with shouts of grateful praise,
will sacrifice to you.
What I have vowed I will make good.
I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the Lord.’ - Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. - If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
- I will praise you with an upright heart
as I learn your righteous laws. - Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;
save me and I will be saved,
for you are the one I praise. - For I am the Lord your God
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help you. - Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.
- I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High. - Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.Next verse!With image
