- A highway shall be there,
and it shall be called the Holy Way;
the unclean shall not travel on it,
but it shall be for God's people;
no traveler, not even fools, shall go astray. - But this command I gave them, “Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people; and walk only in the way that I command you, so that it may be well with you.”
- No testing has overtaken you that is not common to everyone. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it.
- When Jesus had received the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

and find rest for your souls.
But they said, “We will not walk in it.” - This God—his way is perfect;
the promise of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all who take refuge in him. - Our steps are made firm by the Lord,
when he delights in our way. - Happy are those
who do not follow the advice of the wicked,
or take the path that sinners tread,
or sit in the seat of scoffers. - Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
- Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus.
- And every day in the temple and at home they did not cease to teach and proclaim Jesus as the Messiah.
- Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it. For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who find it.
- And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
- There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
- Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- You then, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- Just as you do not know how the breath comes to the bones in the mother's womb, so you do not know the work of God, who makes everything.
- Who is it that conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
