Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child. If you afflict them in any way, and they cry at all to Me, I will surely hear their cry; and My wrath will become hot, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.Do not take advantage of the widow or the fatherless. Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.
Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: “Hosanna to the Son of David! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ Hosanna in the highest!”The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest heaven!”
Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.
Because I delivered the poor who cried out, The fatherless and the one who had no helper. The blessing of a perishing man came upon me, And I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy.Because I rescued the poor who cried for help, and the fatherless who had none to assist them. The one who was dying blessed me; I made the widow’s heart sing.
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.When the sentence for a crime is not quickly carried out, people’s hearts are filled with schemes to do wrong.
Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.
