  • Turn not to the right hand nor to the left:
    remove thy foot from evil.

    but it shall accomplish that which I please,
    and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
  • Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
  • But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out: For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.
  • In my distress I called upon the Lord,
    and cried unto my God:
    he heard my voice out of his temple,
    and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
  • The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil:
    he shall preserve thy soul.
    The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in
    from this time forth, and even for evermore.
  • A faithful witness will not lie:
    but a false witness will utter lies.
  • Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
  • For the Lord giveth wisdom:
    out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
  • Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

    the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.
