- And let the peace of Christ reign in your hearts, because it was for this that you were called together in one body. Always be thankful.

to my cries of supplication. - Let us then make every effort to enter into that rest, so that no one may fall by following that example of refusing to believe.

“If anyone is thirsty,
let him come to me and drink.” - And God said, “Let us make man in our image and likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the wild animals and reptiles that crawl upon the earth.”
- Let us never grow weary in doing what is right, for if we do not give up, we will reap our harvest in due time.
- Then Nehemiah added: “You now may go. Eat rich food and drink what is sweet. Moreover, send some of these to those for whom nothing has been prepared, for this day is holy to our Lord. Furthermore, do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
- Let no foul word ever pass your lips. Say only what is useful for edification, so that your words may benefit your listeners.
- Let marriage be held in honor by all, and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for those who are immoral and adulterers will have to face God’s judgment.
- My son, concentrate attentively on my words;
pay heed to the instructions I pass on to you.
Do not let them slip from your mind;
keep them forever in your heart. - Restore us, O Lord of hosts;
let your face shine upon us,
and we will be saved. - The powerful suffer want and go hungry,
but those who seek the Lord want for no good thing. - Let no one regard you with contempt because of your youth, but serve as an example to the believers in your speech and conduct, in your love, your faith, and your purity.
- Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace when we are in need of help.
- Let no one delude himself. If anyone among you considers himself to be wise by worldly standards, he must become a fool in order to be truly wise.
- Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart
find favor in your sight,
O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. - Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that weighs us down and the sins that so easily distract us and with perseverance run the race that lies ahead of us.
- If a man has recently been married, he is not to go off to battle nor have any other duty laid on him. He will be free to stay at home for one year so that he can bring happiness to the wife whom he has married.
- So if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out there. If they say, ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For just as lightning comes from the east and is visible even in the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
- Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the world.
- Let my teaching fall down like rain,
and my words descend like the dew.
Like rain upon the sprouts,
and like showers upon the grass. - But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them. For it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”
