- With my whole heart I seek you;
let me not wander from your commandments! - Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! - Keep steady my steps according to your promise,
and let no iniquity get dominion over me. - Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.
- In you, O Lord, do I take refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
in your righteousness deliver me! - Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.
- Let us test and examine our ways,
and return to the Lord! - Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.
- To this day I have had the help that comes from God, and so I stand here testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would come to pass: that the Christ must suffer and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles.
- And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
- My son, be attentive to my words;
incline your ear to my sayings.
Let them not escape from your sight;
keep them within your heart. - Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord! - Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him,
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. - So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.
- Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
- But let justice roll down like waters,
and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. - Let all that you do be done in love.
- Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
- Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
- Pray then like this:
“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.” - If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.
- Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love,
for in you I trust.
Make me know the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. - Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you;
bind them around your neck;
write them on the tablet of your heart.
So you will find favor and good success
in the sight of God and man. - Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously;
let this be made known in all the earth. - Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
