- Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge:
but he that hateth reproof is brutish. - So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
- He loveth righteousness and judgment:
the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. - A friend loveth at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity. - He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.
- Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
- He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
- The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind:
the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down:
the Lord loveth the righteous. - Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
- He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul:
he that keepeth understanding shall find good. - And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
- Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
- For the Lord loveth judgment,
and forsaketh not his saints;
they are preserved for ever:
but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. - My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord;
neither be weary of his correction:
For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth;

- Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

- Ye that love the Lord, hate evil:
he preserveth the souls of his saints;
he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. - And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
- And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
- Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering.
- Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
- Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
- Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
- We love him, because he first loved us.
