- And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”
- Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels?

- And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words.
- Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
- For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?
- And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
- Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
- And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
- Pray then like this:
“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.” - If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.
- Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.”
- For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
- Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
- It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave.
- If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.
- Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
