- Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.”

That I might not sin against You. - But You, O Lord, are a shield for me,
My glory and the One who lifts up my head. - And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
- Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean;
Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes.
Cease to do evil. - I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye. - My times are in Your hand;
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies,
And from those who persecute me. - My flesh and my heart fail;
But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. - The Lord God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills. - I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. - O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thought afar off. - Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.
- I acknowledged my sin to You,
And my iniquity I have not hidden.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah - ‘Return, backsliding Israel,’ says the Lord;
‘I will not cause My anger to fall on you.
For I am merciful,’ says the Lord;
‘I will not remain angry forever.’ - He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
- I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
- Have mercy upon me, O God,
According to Your lovingkindness;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,
Blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
And cleanse me from my sin.
