- For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live.
- Thou art all fair, my love;
there is no spot in thee. - And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
- I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
- Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
- Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.
- I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
- Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
- A fool hath no delight in understanding,
but that his heart may discover itself. - But he knoweth the way that I take:
when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
My foot hath held his steps,
his way have I kept, and not declined. - Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
- The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich,
and he addeth no sorrow with it. - And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
- Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- There is none holy as the Lord:
for there is none beside thee:
neither is there any rock like our God. - I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
- Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
- Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
- Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
- Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
- Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord:
let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. - But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
- No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
- For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he.
