- Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.
- Treasures of wickedness profit nothing,
But righteousness delivers from death. - For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
- For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well. - And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:
“Blessing and honor and glory and power
Be to Him who sits on the throne,
And to the Lamb, forever and ever!” - Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
- “Now therefore,” he said, “put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord God of Israel.”
- Riches do not profit in the day of wrath,
But righteousness delivers from death. - There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?
- Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. - We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
- By humility and the fear of the Lord
Are riches and honor and life. - Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.
- And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
- Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
- Depart from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it. - Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.
- In You, O Lord, I put my trust;
Let me never be ashamed;
Deliver me in Your righteousness. - But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.
- Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
- But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference.
- “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
- So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
