He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
And if we are careful to obey all this law before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness.It shall be righteousness to us, if we observe to do all these commandments before Yahweh our God, as he has commanded us.
Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted.
Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths.Show me your ways, Yahweh. Teach me your paths.
And I saw that all toil and all achievement spring from one person’s envy of another. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.Then I saw all the labor and achievement that is the envy of a man’s neighbor. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.
Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.
Ill-gotten treasures have no lasting value, but righteousness delivers from death.Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, but righteousness delivers from death.
Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.Riches don’t profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry.Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.

Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.Who are you who judge another’s servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. Yes, he will be made to stand, for God has power to make him stand.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
“Now then,” said Joshua, “throw away the foreign gods that are among you and yield your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”Now therefore put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to Yahweh, the God of Israel.
The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”Yahweh God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.
Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters.Now accept one who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions.
We who are Jews by birth and not sinful Gentiles know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.We, being Jews by nature and not Gentile sinners, yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.
Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.For with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.
There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?
Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you. When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.With my soul I have desired you in the night. Yes, with my spirit within me I will seek you earnestly; for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.
