- For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God? - He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. - He only is my rock and my salvation;
he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. - In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - For thou art my rock and my fortress;
therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. - There is none holy as the Lord:
for there is none beside thee:
neither is there any rock like our God. - I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. - Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock.
- He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. - And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
- Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. - My flesh and my heart faileth:
but God is the strength of my heart,
and my portion for ever.
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. He that walketh uprightly,
and worketh righteousness,
and speaketh the truth in his heart.
He that backbiteth not with his tongue,
nor doeth evil to his neighbour,
nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.Next verse!With image
