Who will render to every man according to his deeds. | For God will repay everyone in accordance with what his deeds deserve. |

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. | Those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. |
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer. | Be joyful in your hope. Be patient in times of affliction. Persevere in prayer. |
Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. | Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. |
If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. | As much as possible, and to the extent of your ability, live in peace with everyone. |
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. | So then, faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ. |
Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. | Each of us must consider his neighbor’s good for the purpose of building him up. |
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. | As Scripture asserts, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.” |
But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. | But if we hope for what we do not yet see, then we wait for it with patience. |
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. | Let your love be sincere. Loathe what is evil and hold fast to what is good. |
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. | No, throughout all these things we are conquerors because of him who loved us. |
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. | The Spirit himself bears witness with our Spirit that we are children of God. |
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. | At the appointed time, while we were still helpless, Christ died for the ungodly. |
Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. | Welcome anyone whose faith is weak, but do not get into arguments about doubts. |
Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. | Love cannot result in any harm to the neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfillment of the Law. |
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? | What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us? |
Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God. | Therefore, accept one another for the glory of God, just as Christ has accepted you. |
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another. | Love one another with genuine affection. Esteem others more highly than yourself. |
What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. | What then? Should we sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Of course not! |
