- Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground. - “Yet even now,” declares the Lord,
“Return to Me with all your heart,
And with fasting, weeping, and mourning.” - Do not weary yourself to gain wealth;
Stop dwelling on it. - Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls;
All Your breakers and Your waves have passed over me. - He has told you, mortal one, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justice, to love kindness,
And to walk humbly with your God? - Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.
- Now whenever you fast, do not make a gloomy face as the hypocrites do, for they distort their faces so that they will be noticed by people when they are fasting. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.
- For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
- In You, Lord, I have taken refuge;
Let me never be put to shame;
In Your righteousness rescue me. - Urge slaves to be subject to their own masters in everything, to be pleasing, not argumentative, not stealing, but showing all good faith so that they will adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in every respect.
- For You are my rock and my fortress;
For the sake of Your name You will lead me and guide me. - Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
For You I wait all the day. - My times are in Your hand;
Rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me. - And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
- Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithfulness;
According to the greatness of Your compassion, wipe out my wrongdoings.
Wash me thoroughly from my guilt
And cleanse me from my sin. - And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”
- If I should say, “My foot has slipped,”
Your faithfulness, Lord, will support me. - I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have revived me. - Hear my prayer, Lord,
Listen to my pleadings!
Answer me in Your faithfulness, in Your righteousness! - Indeed, while following the way of Your judgments, Lord,
We have waited for You eagerly;
Your name, and remembering You, is the desire of our souls. - Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight. - And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
- I have chosen the faithful way;
I have placed Your judgments before me. - With all my heart I have sought You;
Do not let me wander from Your commandments. - I have wiped out your wrongdoings like a thick cloud
And your sins like a heavy mist.
Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.
