Thank you for your blessings (3/4)

  • ‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’
  • Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You.
  • Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us, for the glory of God.
  • For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
  • Indeed, while following the way of Your judgments, Lord,
    We have waited for You eagerly;
    Your name, and remembering You, is the desire of our souls.
  • Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
  • Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. For six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of the Lord your God; on it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male slave or your female slave, or your cattle, or your resident who stays with you. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and everything that is in them, and He rested on the seventh day; for that reason the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
  • I delight to do Your will, my God;
    Your Law is within my heart.
  • You will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God.
  • Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choice of you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.
  • Come close to God and He will come close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
  • Incline my heart to Your testimonies,
    And not to dishonest gain.
  • It shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the Lord, so that you will do them and not follow your own heart and your own eyes, which led you to prostitute yourselves.
  • But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God.”
  • The angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; for that reason also the holy Child will be called the Son of God.”
  • But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
  • Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.
  • And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
  • How great is Your goodness,
    Which You have stored up for those who fear You,
    Which You have performed for those who take refuge in You,
    Before the sons of mankind!
  • But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.
  • Teach me to do Your will,
    For You are my God;
    Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
  • For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand,
    Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’
  • Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought for a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
  • But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.
  • Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in mercy to all who call upon You.

Bible verse of the day

No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.
