- Sing to the Lord,
For He has done excellent things;
This is known in all the earth. - Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
- And they put up over His head the accusation written against Him:
THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. - For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
- Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.
- This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles. - This also comes from the Lord of hosts,
Who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance. - For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
- Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
- By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
- Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.
