For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.For “He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it.”

The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.The words of a talebearer are like tasty trifles, And they go down into the inmost body.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
