- Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:
for thou art the God of my salvation;
on thee do I wait all the day. - Arise, shine; for thy light is come,
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. - I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. - For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
- And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. - And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
- He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
- And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
- Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved:
for thou art my praise. - If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
- For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. - Yea, in the way of thy judgments,
O Lord, have we waited for thee;
the desire of our soul is to thy name,
and to the remembrance of thee. - But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed. - For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. - Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
- For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
- For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end.
- For thou art my rock and my fortress;
therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. - Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
- O God, thou art my God;
early will I seek thee:
my soul thirsteth for thee,
my flesh longeth for thee
in a dry and thirsty land,
where no water is. - And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.
- Yea, though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. - Thus saith the Lord,
Stand ye in the ways, and see,
and ask for the old paths,
where is the good way, and walk therein,
and ye shall find rest for your souls.
But they said, We will not walk therein. - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.
- And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour:
but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
