He is the true God and eternal life. - I further pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you may know the hope to which he has called you, how rich and glorious is his inheritance in the saints.
- However, God has revealed these things to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit explores everything, even the depths of God.
- He has made everything suitable for its time, and he has given men a sense of past and future, but they never have the slightest comprehension of what God has wrought from beginning to end.
- Many shall be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will persist in their evil ways.
- Let those who are wise understand these words,
and let the prudent acknowledge them.
For straight are the ways of the Lord;
the upright walk in them,
but sinners stumble. - A word is not even on my tongue
and you, O Lord, are completely aware of it. - Come to your senses and sin no more. For some of you have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
- Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,
but the one who hates correction is stupid. - And just as no human being comprehends any person’s innermost being except the person’s own spirit within him, so also no one comprehends what pertains to God except the Spirit of God.
- Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever he pleases. - Then the other disciple who had reached the tomb first also went inside, and he saw and believed. They still did not understand the Scripture indicating that he must rise from the dead.
