Bible Verses about Weakness

That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. Therefore I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities for the sake of Christ; for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” So, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.He gives power to the faint, and strengthens the powerless.
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words.
I can do all this through him who gives me strength.I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.Stay awake and pray that you may not come into the time of trial; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who in every respect has been tested as we are, yet without sin.
A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.A cheerful heart is a good medicine, but a downcast spirit dries up the bones.
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.Speak out for those who cannot speak, for the rights of all the destitute.
Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.Give justice to the weak and the orphan; maintain the right of the lowly and the destitute.
Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me.Deep calls to deep at the thunder of your cataracts; all your waves and your billows have gone over me.

Better a patient person than a warrior,
one with self-control than one who takes a city.
