- For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
- Oh, how great is Your goodness,
Which You have laid up for those who fear You,
Which You have prepared for those who trust in You
In the presence of the sons of men! - And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
- The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein. - Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the Lord Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.
- And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
- Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.
- That is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
- You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
- For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
- Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.
- Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.
- But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
- I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples,
And I will sing praises to You among the nations. - In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
- Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
Let Your glory be above all the earth. - I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.
- For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
- In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven. - Sing to the Lord,
For He has done excellent things;
This is known in all the earth. - Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
- And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifested in the flesh,
Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world,
Received up in glory. - I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.
- But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God’s throne; nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
- And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
