Bible Verses about Worrying

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.Do not worry about anything, but present your needs to God in prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. Then the peace of God, which is beyond all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and give you help, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares about you.
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Therefore, heed my words. Do not be concerned about your life and what you will have to eat or drink, or about your body and what you will wear. Surely life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has enough troubles of its own.
In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul. When my anxious thoughts multiplied, your comfort filled my soul with joy.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.Do not let your hearts be troubled. You place your trust in God. Trust also in me.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled; be not afraid.
Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.Anxiety in the human heart weighs it down, but a kind word makes it glad.
For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow. For much wisdom can result in much sorrow, and those who increase their knowledge also increase their grief.
Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.O Lord, all my longing is known to you, and my sighs are not hidden from you.
Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.Do not be concerned about your life and what you will have to eat, or about your body and what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.Banish grief from your heart and ignore the sufferings of your body, for youth and the prime of life are fleeting.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. And God is able to enrich you with an abundance of every grace, so that, with all of your needs provided for, you may be able to produce a surplus of good works.
But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. When they arrest you and bring you to trial, do not be concerned beforehand about what you are to say. Simply say whatever is given to you when that time comes, for it will not be you who speak but the Holy Spirit.
He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. The seed sown among thorns is the one who hears the word, but worldly cares and the lure of riches choke the word and it bears no fruit.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And I heard a loud voice proclaim from the throne: “Behold, God’s dwelling is with mankind; he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and he will be their God, God-with-them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will no longer be death. Neither will there be any mourning or crying or pain, for the old order has passed away.”
Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. Then Job arose, tore his cloak, and shaved his head. He threw himself prostrate on the ground and said: “Naked I emerged from my mother’s womb, and naked I will return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”
Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?Consider the ravens. They do not sow or reap, they have no storehouse or barn, and yet God feeds them. You are of far greater importance than birds.
For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth. But I know that my Redeemer lives, and that at the end he will stand upon the dust.
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.Such godly sorrow results in repentance that leads to salvation and causes no regret, whereas worldly sorrow produces death.
