Chinese (traditional)But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person? How does God's love abide in anyone who has the world's goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help? But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him? If anyone is rich in worldly possessions
and sees a brother in need
but refuses to open his heart,
how can the love of God abide in him? Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.Next verse! With image
