Chinese (traditional)Those who love your law have great peace.
Nothing causes them to stumble. Now, little children, remain in him, that when he appears, we may have boldness and not be ashamed before him at his coming. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you. Let your eyes look straight ahead.
Fix your gaze directly before you. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer. Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to Yahweh’s law. God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that don’t exist, that he might bring to nothing the things that exist, that no flesh should boast before God. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that. He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul,
but he who is contemptuous in his ways shall die. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them. For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first, and also for the Greek. I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations.
I will sing praises to you among the peoples. You shall be holy to me, for I, Yahweh, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that you should be mine. For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end that you may be established; that is, that I with you may be encouraged in you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don’t lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight. Let the brother in humble circumstances glory in his high position; and the rich, in that he is made humble, because like the flower in the grass, he will pass away. Yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we live through him. I have rejoiced in the way of your testimonies,
as much as in all riches. All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made. The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God. Like a city that is broken down and without walls
is a man whose spirit is without restraint. Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. For you need endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise. My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord.
Apart from you I have no good thing.” Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. The liberal soul shall be made fat.
He who waters shall be watered also himself. While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. Behold, a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.” Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins. Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.Next verse! With image
