Chinese (traditional)Most assuredly, I say to you, he who receives whomever I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. To do righteousness and justice
Is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever,
For they are the rejoicing of my heart. If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. Every way of a man is right in his own eyes,
But the Lord weighs the hearts. Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is with those who uphold my life. When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. Who is a God like You,
Pardoning iniquity
And passing over the transgression
of the remnant of His heritage?
He does not retain His anger forever,
Because He delights in mercy. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. In my distress I called upon the Lord,
And cried out to my God;
He heard my voice from His temple,
And my cry came before Him, even to His ears. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers. The hope of the righteous will be gladness,
But the expectation of the wicked will perish. Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. I spread out my hands to You;
My soul longs for You like a thirsty land. Selah You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. The fear of man brings a snare,
But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” As a father pities his children,
So the Lord pities those who fear Him. Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him. He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? The generous soul will be made rich,
And he who waters will also be watered himself.Next verse!With image
