Bible Verses about Giving

Each person should give as much as he has decided in his heart, not with reluctance or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
But who am I, and what are your people, that we should be able to do this? All things belong to you, and everything that we have given you is from your hand. But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from you, and we have given you of your own.
A gift opens doors for the giver and wins him access to the powerful.A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men.
A generous person will be enriched; he who refreshes others will also be refreshed. The liberal soul shall be made fat. He who waters shall be watered also himself.
As long as the goodwill is present, the gift will be acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have. For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what you have, not according to what you don’t have.
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. The measure that you use for others will be used to measure you.Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you.
Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your crops.Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase.
Enriched in every way, you will be able to practice all your acts of generosity, which, through our intervention, will result in thanksgiving to God.You being enriched in everything for all generosity, which produces thanksgiving to God through us.
The one who provides seed for sowing and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness. Now may he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.
And God is able to enrich you with an abundance of every grace, so that, with all of your needs provided for, you may be able to produce a surplus of good works. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.
Do not withhold kindness from anyone to whom it is due when it is in your power to grant it.Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.
Bring the tithes in full into the treasury so that there may be food in my house. Put me thus to the test, says the Lord of hosts, and see if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down blessings upon you without measure.“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be enough room for.”
Therefore, whenever you give alms, do not trumpet your generosity, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets in order to win the praise of others. Amen, I say to you, they have already received their reward. Therefore, when you do merciful deeds, don’t sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.
Give to everyone who begs from you, and do not demand the return of what is yours from the one who has taken it.Give to everyone who asks you, and don’t ask him who takes away your goods to give them back again.

The wicked man borrows but neglects to repay, whereas the righteous man is generous in giving. The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously.
But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Your almsgiving must be done in secret. And your Father who sees everything that is done in secret will reward you.But when you do merciful deeds, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand does, so that your merciful deeds may be in secret, then your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. You received without payment; give in the same way.Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and cast out demons. Freely you received, so freely give.
