That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.
And He summoned the crowd together with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.”Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”
Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.
From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
But now in Christ Jesus you who previously were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
So Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching is not My own, but His who sent Me.”Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.”
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
Therefore, since He has been exalted at the right hand of God, and has received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He has poured out this which you both see and hear.Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone.Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.
When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, namely, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, He will testify about Me.When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me.
Beyond question, great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, Was vindicated in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Proclaimed among the nations, Believed on in the world, Taken up in glory.Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.
That their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and that they would attain to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself.My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ.
For since by a man death came, by a Man also came the resurrection of the dead.For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body, which is being given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”
So if I, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
Now all this took place so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled: “Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son, and they shall name Him Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).
Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will.“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and you shall name Him Jesus.”But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.”
