For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that.For we brought nothing into the world, so that we can take nothing out of it; but if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these.
He who loves silver shall not be satisfied with silver, nor he who loves abundance, with increase. This also is vanity.The lover of money will not be satisfied with money; nor the lover of wealth, with gain. This also is vanity.

For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his life?For what will it profit them to gain the whole world and forfeit their life?
He said to them, “Beware! Keep yourselves from covetousness, for a man’s life doesn’t consist of the abundance of the things which he possesses.”And he said to them, “Take care! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one's life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.”
Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have; for he has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.”
While we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.Because we look not at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.
Better is little, with the fear of Yahweh, than great treasure with trouble.Better is a little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble with it.
But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation, a snare, and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction.But those who want to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.
As he came out of his mother’s womb, naked shall he go again as he came, and shall take nothing for his labor, which he may carry away in his hand.As they came from their mother's womb, so they shall go again, naked as they came; they shall take nothing for their toil, which they may carry away with their hands.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Charge those who are rich in this present age that they not be arrogant, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.As for those who in the present age are rich, command them not to be haughty, or to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but rather on God who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.

There are those who covet greedily all day long; but the righteous give and don’t withhold.All day long the wicked covet, but the righteous give and do not hold back.

The multitude of those who believed were of one heart and soul. Not one of them claimed that anything of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.Now the whole group of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one claimed private ownership of any possessions, but everything they owned was held in common.
Why do you set your eyes on that which is not? For it certainly sprouts wings like an eagle and flies in the sky.When your eyes light upon it, it is gone; for suddenly it takes wings to itself, flying like an eagle toward heaven.
The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, like an unscalable wall in his own imagination.The wealth of the rich is their strong city; in their imagination it is like a high wall.

But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?How does God's love abide in anyone who has the world's goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help?
