Matthew - NLT & NIV

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you.For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.
But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

When you pray, don’t babble on and on as the Gentiles do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.
Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
