For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

He who withholds kindness from a friend forsakes the fear of the Almighty.To him who is ready to faint, kindness should be shown from his friend; even to him who forsakes the fear of the Almighty.

One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.One man esteems one day as more important. Another esteems every day alike. Let each man be fully assured in his own mind.
Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?
