In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.Blessed are you when men hate you, And when they exclude you, And revile you, and cast out your name as evil, For the Son of Man’s sake.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.
“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.”So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.”
My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, And from those who persecute me.
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
I fell to the ground and heard a voice say to me, ‘Saul! Saul! Why do you persecute me?’And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?’

Bible verse of the day

When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.
