| Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. | Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established. |
| For which of you, desiring to build a tower, doesn’t first sit down and count the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it? | For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? |

| “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.” | For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. |
| A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. | A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps. |
| May he grant you your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your counsel. | Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel. |
| Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established. | Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established. |
| There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail. | There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand. |
| Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, for I trust in you. | For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven. | To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. |
| “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” says Yahweh. | For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. |
| Don’t weary yourself to be rich. In your wisdom, show restraint. | Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. |
| So teach us to count our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. | So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. |
| For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. | For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. |
| This also comes out from Yahweh of Armies, who is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in wisdom. | This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working. |
| But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. | But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. |
| Don’t envy the man of violence. Choose none of his ways. For the perverse is an abomination to Yahweh, but his friendship is with the upright. | Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways. For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous. |
| Surely the Lord Yahweh will do nothing, unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets. | Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. |
