Psalm 27 - NRSV & NLT

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?
Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war rise up against me, yet I will be confident.Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.
One thing I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.
I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.

Random Bible Verse

Can a woman forget her nursing child,
or show no compassion for the child of her womb?
Even these may forget,
yet I will not forget you.
See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are continually before me.
