- For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.”
- Guide me in your truth, and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation.
I wait for you all day long. - For as through the one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous.

- Salvation belongs to Yahweh.

- But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
- This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you—not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- Looking at them, Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
- But as for me, I will look to Yahweh.
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me. - Turn us again, Yahweh God of Armies.
Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved. - He alone is my rock, my salvation, and my fortress.
I will never be greatly shaken. - How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace,
who brings good news,
who proclaims salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” - As newborn babies, long for the pure spiritual milk, that with it you may grow.
- He called the multitude to himself with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
- I don’t reject the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!
