who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” - But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
- As newborn babies, long for the pure spiritual milk, that with it you may grow.
- Turn us again, Yahweh God of Armies.
Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved. - But as for me, I will look to Yahweh.
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me. - He alone is my rock, my salvation, and my fortress.
I will never be greatly shaken. - He called the multitude to himself with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
- I don’t reject the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!
