- O my soul, you have said to the Lord,
“You are my Lord,

When shall I come and appear before God? - For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.
- For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
- That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ.
- And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith. - And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
- When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
