- Fine speech is not becoming to a fool;

he is a shield to those who walk blamelessly. - Surely the Lord God does nothing,
without revealing his secret
to his servants the prophets. - On the last day of the festival, the great day, while Jesus was standing there, he cried out, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me.”
- To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;

- What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
- The end of all things is near; therefore be serious and discipline yourselves for the sake of your prayers.
- For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.
- Do not say, “Why were the former days better than these?”
For it is not from wisdom that you ask this. - And now I am about to go the way of all the earth, and you know in your hearts and souls, all of you, that not one thing has failed of all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you; all have come to pass for you, not one of them has failed.
- Why do you see the speck in your neighbor's eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye?
