From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. - Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
- When goods increase,
They increase who eat them;
So what profit have the owners
Except to see them with their eyes? - Do not be wise in your own eyes;

Cease to do evil. - And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’
- If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
- “And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord,” says the Lord God, “when I am hallowed in you before their eyes.”
- Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.
- Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day. - You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You. - They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

Incline your ear to my sayings.
Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart. - If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.
- Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope in His mercy. - And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
- Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths. - Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
- Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you;
And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
Blessed are all those who wait for Him. - Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work on it; it is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.
- But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
- ‘Return, backsliding Israel,’ says the Lord;
‘I will not cause My anger to fall on you.
For I am merciful,’ says the Lord;
‘I will not remain angry forever.’ - I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.
- “For the mountains shall depart
And the hills be removed,
But My kindness shall not depart from you,
Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,”
Says the Lord, who has mercy on you. - Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
- The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth. - ‘And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.
- I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye. - For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
- Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
- But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
- But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
- So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ”
- He will again have compassion on us,
And will subdue our iniquities.
You will cast all our sins
Into the depths of the sea. - Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
