| But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die. | But if the wicked turns from all his sins that he has committed, and keeps all my statutes, and does that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live. | Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops. | Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase. |
| But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you: to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to keep his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. | Only take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of Yahweh commanded you, to love Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, to keep his commandments, to hold fast to him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. |
| For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. | For Yahweh’s word is right. All his work is done in faithfulness. |
| All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty. | In all hard work there is profit, but the talk of the lips leads only to poverty. |
| Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. | And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins. |
| All day long he craves for more, but the righteous give without sparing. | There are those who covet greedily all day long; but the righteous give and don’t withhold. |

| And, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him. | Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation. |
| Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. | Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. |
| Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. | The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all. | Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. |
| Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. | All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made. |
| As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him. | As for God, his way is perfect. Yahweh’s word is tried. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him. |
| Do everything in love. | Let all that you do be done in love. |
| Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall. | Return, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions, so iniquity will not be your ruin. |
| All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. | For as many as have sinned without the law will also perish without the law. As many as have sinned under the law will be judged by the law. |
