- You, Lord, are forgiving and good,
abounding in love to all who call to you. - But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die.
- Honor the Lord with your wealth,
with the firstfruits of all your crops. - But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you: to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to keep his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
- For from him and through him and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen. - If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.
- All day long he craves for more,
but the righteous give without sparing. - For the word of the Lord is right and true;
he is faithful in all he does. - This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
he saved him out of all his troubles. - All hard work brings a profit,
but mere talk leads only to poverty. - And, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.
- So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
- Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
- Give careful thought to the paths for your feet
and be steadfast in all your ways. - As for God, his way is perfect:
The Lord’s word is flawless;
he shields all who take refuge in him. - And I saw that all toil and all achievement spring from one person’s envy of another. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.
- The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the Lord delivers him from them all. - Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.
- Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
- Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine.
- As for God, his way is perfect:
The Lord’s word is flawless;
he shields all who take refuge in him. - Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long. - Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.
- But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
