- Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.
- Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. And he said:
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
And naked shall I return there.
The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away;
Blessed be the name of the Lord.” - He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.
- Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.
- The fear of the Lord is to hate evil;
Pride and arrogance and the evil way
And the perverse mouth I hate. - As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
- I sought the Lord, and He heard me,
And delivered me from all my fears. - So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
- And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.
- If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
- And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you.
- And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
- Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
- For You are my rock and my fortress;
Therefore, for Your name’s sake,
Lead me and guide me. - Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. So they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.
- Then you will understand righteousness and justice,
Equity and every good path. - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
- And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”
- Open your mouth, judge righteously,
And plead the cause of the poor and needy. - For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.
- The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein. - Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
- Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.”
- So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
