and relenting from punishment. - I sought the Lord, and he answered me
and delivered me from all my fears. - But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. - The Lord is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. - Indeed, the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing until it divides soul from spirit, joints from marrow; it is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
- You want something and do not have it, so you commit murder. And you covet something and cannot obtain it, so you engage in disputes and conflicts. You do not have because you do not ask.
