- House and riches are the inheritance of fathers:
and a prudent wife is from the Lord. - For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.

and he delighteth in his way. - Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
- For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
- Many are the afflictions of the righteous:
but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. - For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
- The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind:
the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down:
the Lord loveth the righteous. - For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
- O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. - For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
- If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
