- Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.
- You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
- For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under the Law but under grace.
- For You are my rock and my fortress;
For the sake of Your name You will lead me and guide me. - For a thousand years in Your sight
Are like yesterday when it passes by,
Or like a watch in the night. - Yet for us there is only one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.
- House and wealth are an inheritance from fathers,
But a prudent wife is from the Lord. - For from Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.
- For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in mercy to all who call upon You. - For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light.
- So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone.
- Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
- But Jesus said to him, “ ‘If You can’? All things are possible for the one who believes.”
- Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
But the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. - The steps of a man are established by the Lord,
And He delights in his way. - Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;
Save me and I will be saved,
For You are my praise. - And the insignificant things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, so that no human may boast before God.
- And we are witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him.
- Many plans are in a person’s heart,
But the advice of the Lord will stand. - The afflictions of the righteous are many,
But the Lord rescues him from them all. - Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground. - The Rock! His work is perfect,
For all His ways are just;
A God of faithfulness and without injustice,
Righteous and just is He. - Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
For You I wait all the day. - For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.
- For in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His descendants.’
