- All those who have sinned outside the Law will perish outside the Law, and all who sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law.
- This is how you should pray:

Your kingdom come.

on earth as it is in heaven.’ - For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.
- The Lord commanded us to observe all of these statutes and to fear the Lord, our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, even as we are today.
- Likewise, you who are husbands must show consideration for your wives in your life together. Treat your wife with respect, for even though she is the weaker partner, she is also an equal heir of God’s gift of life. Thus, your prayers will not be hindered in any way.
- I will not leave you orphans;
I will come to you. - Hence, as sin’s reign resulted in death, so the grace of God also might reign through righteousness resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Thus you could understand that the Lord, your God, was disciplining you, just like a father disciplines his son.
- Blessed are you when people hate you and ostracize you, when they insult you and denounce your name as evil on account of the Son of Man.
- For just as through the disobedience of one man the many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one man the many will be made righteous.
- Your kindness is a greater joy than life itself;
thus my lips will speak your praise.
I will bless you all my life;
with uplifted hands I will call on your name. - However, if we live in the light
as he himself is in the light,
then we have fellowship with one another,
and the blood of Jesus his Son
purifies us from all sin. - As Scripture asserts, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.”

Not as the world gives
do I give it to you.
Do not let your hearts be troubled;
be not afraid. - Those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
- Therefore, a Sabbath rest still remains for the people of God, since those who enter into God’s rest also cease from their own labors as God did from his.
- Bear with one another, and forgive one another if anyone has reason to be offended with another. You must forgive just as the Lord has forgiven you.
- Just as you do not know the path of the wind
or how the body is formed in a woman’s womb,
so you do not know the work of God,
the Creator of all. - Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people whom he has chosen as his heritage. - And take the helmet of salvation as well as the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- So if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out there. If they say, ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For just as lightning comes from the east and is visible even in the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
- For to you a thousand years
are like a yesterday that has passed
or one of the watches of the night. - The Lord God is my strength;
he makes my feet as swift as those of a deer
and enables me to tread on the heights. - When you pray do not go on babbling endlessly as the pagans do, for they believe that they are more likely to be heard because of their many words.
- You intended to do evil to me, but God decided to make it serve a good, to fulfill that which today has come true: to keep alive a numerous people.
