- And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

And the perverse mouth I hate. - And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
- For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
- Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
- As in water face reflects face,
So a man’s heart reveals the man. - In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
- As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So pants my soul for You, O God. - And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
- But let justice run down like water,
And righteousness like a mighty stream. - Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
- Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
- For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
