- For
“He who would love life
And see good days,
Let him refrain his tongue from evil,
And his lips from speaking deceit.
Let him turn away from evil and do good;
Let him seek peace and pursue it.” - Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God.
- The vine has dried up,
And the fig tree has withered;
The pomegranate tree,
The palm tree also,
And the apple tree—
All the trees of the field are withered;
Surely joy has withered away from the sons of men. - Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.
- Will you set your eyes on that which is not?
For riches certainly make themselves wings;
They fly away like an eagle toward heaven. - To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.
- I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
- If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
- And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
- They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
- Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
- Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.
- I have blotted out, like a thick cloud, your transgressions,
And like a cloud, your sins.
Return to Me, for I have redeemed you. - Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished,
But he who gathers by labor will increase. - Depart from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it. - Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and depart from evil.
It will be health to your flesh,
And strength to your bones. - But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
- Do not turn to the right or the left;
Remove your foot from evil. - Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
- For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
- You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
- For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
- But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
- The memory of the righteous is blessed,
But the name of the wicked will rot. - Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.
