Believe (2/2)

And though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
I certainly believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone who believes.Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted to him.Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.
The one who believes in the Son has eternal life; but the one who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.
And whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive it all.If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
Who is the one who overcomes the world, but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
Therefore let it be known to you, brothers, that through Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and through Him everyone who believes is freed from all things, from which you could not be freed through the Law of Moses. Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses.
Therefore let’s make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same example of disobedience.Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
Now I make known to you, brothers and sisters, the gospel which I preached to you, which you also received, in which you also stand, by which you also are saved, if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
And when you are praying, do not use thoughtless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard because of their many words. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all, so that those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose on their behalf. For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
We are Jews by nature and not sinners from the Gentiles; nevertheless, knowing that a person is not justified by works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law; since by works of the Law no flesh will be justified. We who are Jews by birth and not sinful Gentiles know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.
So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly My disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
So then, does He who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?

Random Bible Verse

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose trust is the Lord.
For he will be like a tree planted by the water
That extends its roots by a stream,
And does not fear when the heat comes;
But its leaves will be green,
And it will not be anxious in a year of drought,
Nor cease to yield fruit.
